There will be a meeting of Essex County Council on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 6:00 PM.
As permitted under By-law 2022-31, being a by-law to provide rules governing the order and proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex, adopted on October 19, 2022, the meeting will take place with members of County Council joining remotely via web-conference. The meeting can also be watched live, in real time, as the County will be Live streaming proceedings via the County Website.

Prior to the regular meeting, at 4:30 PM, Council will meet in Closed Session, pursuant to Section 239 (2) (b), (d) and (f) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended for the following reason:
• (b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees;
• (d) labour relations or employee negotiations;
• (f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose;
