Pet of the Week: Meet Squish

Kingsville Times is a proud partner and supporter of the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society. As a non-profit organization, the WECHS depends on the generosity of our community to help pets like Squish, a 4-year-old male Domestic Shorthair cat.

Squish is a friendly and curious guy who can be a bit shy at first, but he does love to meet human friends and enjoys being showered with love! He adores being scratched on the head and will headbutt for more. Squish loves to curl up in a good cardboard box, and will happily lounge the day away. He does not enjoy the company of other cats so would have to be the only feline in the house.

If you think your home will be the perfect place for Squish, please feel free to visit the Cats & Kittens page of our website, windsorhumane.org to fill in the online adoption application. If you do not see Squish’s picture, he has been adopted! Please consider one of her friends who are still looking for their loving forever homes.

Strays on Streetcorners is coming up fast!

June 1-3 our volunteers will take to the streets of Windsor and Essex County to collect donations and hand out our Woofstreet Journal to drivers at major intersections around the county. The success of this campaign is directly related to the number of people we have collecting, so put together a team of friends, family or coworkers and join the fun!
