Tristen Ford
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear Tristen on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Adored son of Donald Ford and Kathleen Kungel (nee Knight). Special brother of Tyce Kungel (Tricia), Natasha Ford, Teallie Ford (Wayne Johnson) and Trey Ford (Mackenzie Vandenberg).
He was the world’s best “Uncle Trist” or TeeTee to Zander, Zoey, Addison, Wyatt and Bellamy. Dear grandson of Robert and Mary Knight and Bob and Ethel Ford. Loving nephew of Roy Knight, Jean Banfill, Debbie Ford and Dennis Ford (Vicky). Also remembered by many cousins, extended family and wonderful friends.
To know Tristen was to love Tristen. He was a known as a joker as well as a “gentle giant” that would do anything for anyone. If Tristen saw someone in need, he would do his best to help, even if that meant he did without. He was a big teddy bear and gave the best bear hugs to the people he loved. Tristen loved most sports; but especially golfing and was a true Detroit Redwings fan.
Family and friends will gather at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life for Tristen will be held Monday, April 3 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
