Kingsville Council has established its top three priorities for 2023:

• Attainable Housing Plan
• Facilities / Building Review
• Main Street Development Update

“These three priorities were chosen by Council for completion in 2023. Later this year, Council will embark on an in-depth strategic planning process that will guide the development of a long-term plan for Kingsville,” said Mayor Dennis Rogers.

At a special strategic planning meeting of Council on February 1, Kingsville’s progressive and forward focused Mayor and Council directed Administration to focus on three priorities for 2023, along with a long list of other work already identified for completion this year. For example, Council recently approved significant capital infrastructure projects for 2023 including $2.8 million in road resurfacing projects and a new cooling system and floor for the Kingsville arena.

“Council has spoken and provided me direction for this year,” said Chief Administrative Officer John Norton. “I am taking steps now to tackle these important priorities.”
