As a non-profit organization, the WECHS depends on the generosity of our community to help pets like Bramble, a small 3-year-old male domestic  short-haired mixed breed.

You’d think with a name like Bramble he’d be a prickly fellow with a thorny personality. Nope! He is anything but.

Bramble tells us in his own sweet kitty voice,

“I’m a mellow fellow who will serenade you when I want attention … which may be a lot of the time. But I am respectful and know lots of you have something called ‘work’ that requires your attention.

“I may not understand how anything can be more important than me when it comes to your time but I will respect it. I’ll just be over here on my cushion in the sunshine waiting until you’re done and we can hang out together again.”
