Environment Canada has issued a blizzard warning for Windsor and Essex County.  Blizzard conditions are expected to continue into Saturday December 24.

The area may experience wind gusts of 90 to 100 km/hr with the possibility of utility outages.  Snowfall amounts will reach between 5 and 15 cm by Saturday morning with wind chill values of near minus 30.

Travel will be extremely difficult and is not advised and road closures are possible.
