The Kingsville Times is a proud partner and supporter of the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society. As a Not-For-Profit organization, the WECHS depends on the generosity of our community to help pets like Lacey, a 7-year-old female domestic shorthair cat.
Lacey is looking for a her forever home and can’t believe no one has chosen her yet.
She thought she’d let you know a little about herself to help her find that purrfect family
“Hi, I’m Lacey. I’m a timid girl who likes to spend most of my time in my hide-a-bed where I’m cozy and hidden. I’ve been waiting a while for that purrfect person to fall in love with me and was just wondering if you might be that person.
“I will need some time to sniff you out and get comfortable in my environment. It’s really in my best interest that I go to a quiet adult-only home where I can spend my time in peace.”
Lacey’s owner was ill and couldn’t care for her any longer. Lacey is a quiet girl who does best when given her own space. She isn’t interested in playing, and most likely would not want to share her turf with other pets or kids.
We hope she will find a quiet forever home soon, she is very overwhelmed here with us.

If Lacey’s picture is no longer there, then she has found a home and you might want to consider one of her many friends who are still looking for their forever home.
