(LEAMINGTON, ON) – On Monday, October 31, 2022, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Leamington Detachment responded to a report of an assault at an Oak Street West address in the Municipality of Leamington.

Investigation revealed that three students were assaulted at Leamington District Secondary School. A student suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital as precaution.

As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old male from Leamington was arrested and charged with:

·        Assault with A Weapon (3 counts)

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
