Pet of the Week: Meet Jax

The Kingsville Times is a proud partner and supporter of the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.

As a non-profit organization, the WECHS depends on the generosity of our community to help pets like Jax, a 9-year-old male Labrador Retriever.

Jax is eager to find his forever home as he thinks he has been with us for far too long. He has a few words about himself he would like to share. —

HIYA PAL! My name is Jax! And don’t let my age fool ya, I am SUPER energetic for being a senior, let me tell ya!!

I am your typical happy go lucky Lab, looking for my forever home. I would prefer a home where I am the only dog, though I have been around cats before and did pretty well with them. I do good with other people, though might need to work on my manners so I’m not jumping on you too much.

It is important to know that I have an issue with my ears. I have chronic ear issues, which is something an adopter will need to be willing to take care of. I know it might be a lot to ask, but I promise I will make it up to you with my sweet and loving personality!

I am pretty eager to get out of the shelter as it’s really not an enjoyable place for us doggos to be in, so really hoping I come across a suitable adopter soon! So if you think I am the guy you’ve been looking for and have the time for me, then I cannot wait to meet you!

If you do not see Jax’s picture, that means his wishes have come true and he has been adopted. Please consider one of his friends who are still looking for their loving, forever homes.
