October Needs for Kingsville Community Food Bank

October is a month that holds some special events. We’ve just experienced Thanksgiving, a time to appreciate what we have. Hallowe’en, a time to have some scarey fun, is coming up later this month.

Those special events are great when you can afford them, but they are difficult for people who are facing financial challenges. They are also faced with the day-to-day task of making ends meet, of putting food on the table.

The Kingsville Community Food Bank is here to help. And every month they create a list of particular foods they’re looking for.

Here’s this month’s Food Bank Needs list:

From the Food Bank’s Facebook page:

“The Kingsville Community Food Bank proudly serves Kingsville residents who may be experiencing food vulnerability. We offer perishable and non-perishable items as well as personal hygiene items to those who need a helping hand.”

The Food Bank also welcomes other types of donations as well. They’re happy to accept products for babies, pet supplies, laundry and dish detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, tampons, and more. They’re also looking for empty margarine tubs and jars with lids for dish and laundry soaps poured from large containers.

If you can help, the Food Bank would love to hear from you!
