Pets of the Week: Meet Stubs and Squeeks

The Kingsville Times is a proud partner and supporter of the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society. As a non-profit organization, the WECHS depends on the generosity of our community to help pets like Stubs, a seven-year-old male cat, and his sister Squeeks.

Meet our Pets of the Week: Stubs and his sister Squeeks

Peekaboo … did you see my picture? Yeah … about that.

I’m actually the one on the right and that’s the best view of me you’re gonna get as long as I’m here. I’m here with my bff Squeeks (she’s the one you can see).

We aren’t quite sure what we’re doing here but we do know we want to get out of here as soon as possible. The sights, the smells, and especially the sounds of the other cats have kept us (especially me) in hiding since our arrival.

My sister Squeeks is a tiny bit more adventurous than me but she’s still no daredevil. We may be diamonds in the rough but in the right home with the right adopter, we are sure to shine!

No Adoption Fee for Stubs and Squeeks

Stubs and Squeeks are “Diamonds in the Rough.” Due to various circumstances these cats may not show their true personality here.

They may have come from quiet senior homes and are on sensory overload here. They may have just come in off the streets and need time to get used to the human world. They may have come from hoarding situations where they were not socialized.

Their photos may not be glamourous but consider each one a “diamond in the rough.” With time and patience they are likely to blossom into gentle and loving companions. Can you be the human they need to break out and shine like, well you know, a diamond?

To help these gems find their new homes, their fees are waived.
