We are collecting children’s clothing for a Kids’ Clothing Swap.  The Swap itself won’t be happening until Saturday, August 6. But we need the time between now and then to get things ready.

Clothing will be collected over the next three weeks in advance so we can pre-sort by sizes.

The clothing will be sorted, set out and displayed on tables at the Kingsville Community Centre on August 6th 10 a.m. -2 p.m. You do not have to donate clothes in order to come and take clothing.

With increasing prices, we want to help parents by easing the burden of clothing budgets.  All are encouraged to donate and to come and get some new to their kids’ clothing.

My own children love hand-me-downs. They always find items they adore and they’re very grateful for the new-to-them clothing. I hope parents take this opportunity to pass along clothing no longer needed and to select items that their kids will use.

We are fortunate to have a very generous community and when we pull together, we can easily help those of us in need.
