Kingsville’s Canada Day Celebration Begins at 11 a.m. on July 1, 2022

The Town of Kingsville is excited to invite the community to a FREE Canada Day Celebration at the Kingsville Arena and Recreation Complex. The theme for 2022 is ‘Connecting our History, People and Places.’

“We’ll have vendors starting at 11 am, and Opening Ceremonies is at 11:30 am. We’ll launch the event by acknowledging our past with a Smudging and Drumming Ceremony by Caldwell First Nation,” said Kingsville’s Manager of Recreation Programming and Special Events, Karen Loney. “People can also participate in a sacred fire, which is an opportunity for reflection, learning, and sharing how we are connected to our history.”

The day is full of family and youth activities, including bouncy castles, pony rides, face painting, crafts, a foam party-where kids should expect to get wet, a photo booth area, and more.

Please consider using active transportation to attend or park off Kratz Side Road. The old Jasperson (Jasperson Lane) will be closed to accommodate the event. Bring your lawn chair and sunscreen.

“This celebration could not happen without our generous sponsors, including Dr. Mark Olivito and Associates, Original Guys Pizza Pies (OG Pizza), Kingsville Home Hardware Building Centre, Pelee Island Winery, and N.J Peralta Engineering Ltd,” continued Loney.

You can find the full schedule, including entertainment on the main stage, on the Town’s website.

Volunteers are needed to make this event (and others) a success! Support your community by helping out when and where you can – fill out our Volunteer Form to get started.
