Council Highlights

At the April 11, 2022 Council meeting, Council:

* Approved the use of Ridgeview Park and Pavilion for the 58th Annual Cottam Fall Fair and Horse Festival taking place September 18, 2022

* Awarded the Phase 2 contract for our automated meter replacement program to Diameter Services Inc.

* Approved a backyard flooding subsidy for existing residential properties to install backyard catch basins. The Town will cover 50% of the cost up to a maximum of $2500.00.

* Moved to allow Temporary Foreign Worker housing off-farm in non-urban areas, to a maximum of 4 persons per home, until the end of the year or the completion of the Foreign Worker Housing Study (whichever comes first).
