Taste of the County: Olive Tapenade

Olive Tapenade

This salty, briny olive tapenade recipe comes together in about 5 minutes and is the perfect party appetizer, sandwich topper or pizza enhancer. If you love olives, you are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe!

Ingredients

2 cloves Garlic

1 tbsp Oregano, fresh

1/4 cup Parsley, fresh

1 jar Kalamata olives, pitted

1 jar Castelvetrano olives, pitted

salt

black pepper, fresh cracked

1/4 cup Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive oil

2 tsp Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar

Preparation

Put all ingredients in food processor. Mix well.

Serve with crostini and Brie cheese.

Put on pizza, charcuterie board or sandwiches.  So delicious!

Here are 5 ways to enjoy olive tapenade:

1. Mix the tapenade with hummus and place on pita bread topped with some microgreens.

2. Spread on crackers, pita chips or bread.

3. Stuff portobello mushrooms with the tapenade.

4. Mix it in with some tomato sauce and use it with pasta, polenta or gnocchi.

5. Enjoy on a sandwich.
