Mr. Kitty, 3 years old

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Mr. Kitty — I know, a rather formal name but I am a rather mannerly fellow. I don’t like to boast but I do have very good manners. I enjoy being pet but won’t make a pest of myself.

I quite understand the importance of “me-time,” in fact I like that myself. So as much as I enjoy being pet, I also like my independence — not to go outside, no no no! I’m a strictly indoor gent. I just mean I like some time to myself to curl up in a sunbeam and contemplate life.

But speaking of being pet, here’s how I operate. If I’m interested I’ll rub against your legs and head butt, and if you pet me just right, I’ll flop onto my side. If I think you have other things that need to get done, I’ll walk away and leave you to your chores. I may be a gentleman but I am not your butler so you’re on your own for those chores!
