Happy March! It’s a month of hope after a long winter when we can see spring approaching. And St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner. We should not forget, though, that basic needs continue to weigh heavily on many shoulders.
The Kingsville Community Food Bank never forgets. We are thankful for their constant, ongoing care for those in need. And we appreciate all those in the community who give so generously.
Here’s a list of items that the Food Bank is especially looking for in March 2022:
If you want to make a donation but you can’t get to the Food Bank during its open hours, there is a drop box in front of the checkouts at Zehrs.
The Food Bank can also use empty margarine, sour cream or yogurt tubs with lids, and empty jars with lids. These will hold dish and laundry soaps poured from large containers.
From the Food Bank’s Facebook page:
“The Kingsville Community Food Bank proudly serves Kingsville residents who may be experiencing food vulnerability. We offer perishable and non-perishable items as well as personal hygiene items to those who need a helping hand.”
