SORRELL, William Blake (Blake)

Passed away peacefully at home in Kingsville on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the age of 60. Born January 11, 1962 in Leamington, ON. Blake is predeceased by his father Don Sorrell (2003), his Grandparents; Fred and Pearl Sorrell, Edna and George Rice and Cliff Phillips, Uncles Ernie Sorrell, Jim Gillanders and Don Smith.

Blake is survived by his mother Joanne Sorrell and Bud Bruner, loving partner to Patti Hodgkin. Loving father to Rebecca, Courtney (Collyn), Kayla and Cassandra (Brandon) and grandfather to Karli.

Blake is also survived by three sisters and four brothers: Tab (Michelle), Bill (Megan), Susan Sorrell, Donna Cartier (Dave), Traci Sorrell (Alain), Brien (Susan) and Jaysen (Margaret). Blake is also survived by Aunt(s) Pearl Gillanders, Gloria Sorrell and Betty Smith and by countless nieces, nephews and cousins.

Blake loved his family. It was almost, in many ways, his middle name. For Blake, everything revolved around his family and has always been a “jack-of-all-trades” for anyone or anybody who needed a hand. If Blake didn’t know how to do something, he’d figure it out and get it done.

Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville, on Thursday, March 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 – 7 p.m.
The funeral service will be held Friday, March 18, at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville, at 2:00 p.m.
If desired, donations to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
