NOLAN, Hugh James
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on February 1, 2022, at Royal Oak LTC at the age of 75 years. Husband of Donna Nolan (nee Donovan). Loving father of Sean Patrick Nolan (Riley Gagnon) and Ryan James Nolan. Dear brother of Brian (Mary Jo), Sheila, late Tim, Kevin (Manot) and Dennis (Marie).
Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Eleanor Nolan. Also left to remember Hugh are his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his extended family and friends.
Hugh had been very active in many organizations throughout his life. Hockey was a love of his; playing for the London Knights when he was younger then becoming a coach for his boys when they were old enough to play the sport. Hugh also coached on the baseball diamond.
He was an avid golfer and member of the Kingsville Golf and Country Club. Hugh spent many wonderful years sailing around the lake on his boat and was a member of Cedar Island Yacht Club.
Hugh was a millwright for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. He was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Kingsville Branch #188 and was a past member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8233 Kingsville.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville, on Friday, February 4, 2022, from 3 to 7 p.m. Knights of Columbus Prayers at 6:30 p.m. In following COVID restrictions, you must RSVP to attend the visitation as numbers are limited. A facemask or face shield are required for all who attend the visitation.
A private family funeral service will be held due to a limit on number of attendees. Burial will be held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Windsor.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Parkwood Hospital Auxiliary, 550 Wellington Road, London, ON N6C 0A7.
