(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex County would like to advise the motoring public that there is limited access to the United States bound traffic on the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor.

Yesterday, traffic going into and coming from the United States was not accessible and it was suggested that anyone heading to the United States from Canada, utilize the Bluewater Bridge in Sarnia, which created large traffic backups.

Based on the currently limited access, the motoring public is asked to make their border crossing decisions accordingly.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
