TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Kingsville will consider amendments to the following By-laws:
- Fees and Charges By-law 3-2022
- Building Services Fees By-law 4-2022
- Water and Sewage Rate By-law 5-2022 at its Regular Meeting on:
Monday, February 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
A Summary of the Proposed Amendments will be available online at www.kingsville.ca/fees on Monday, January 31, 2022. Please call the Municipal Office if you require a printed copy. Any written comments must be received by 12:00 noon on Monday, February 14, 2022. Comments which are made at the meeting become part of the public record which is available for anyone to view on the Town of Kingsville website.
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Meeting will be held electronically. Members will meet via electronic participation. Members of the public can view the meeting at www.kingsville.ca/livestream.

The taxpayers of Kingsville are fed up with the current attitude of the council. The bate and switch on fees and charges come after the budget is passed, the taxpayers will also face an increase when the school board increase is in place. Kingsville council operates as they see fit with outrageous gifts to special groups. The recent move to give thousands of dollars worth of rentals and wave all fees and charges for the use of the community center (the mistake on the lake) was done in secret with no chance to have any public input. No motions were put into any meeting minutes. This needs a public review and investigation. Council simply granted thousands of dollars in rental fees to private enterprises. Time for the ministry of municipal affairs to review this and a number of other closed-door meetings that have taken place under the cover of covid 19. Questions will fly once the doors of Townhall are open again. The lineup for freedom of information requests will be interesting.
