James Thibert (January 4, 1967 – January 10, 2022)

James Thibert

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jim (JimmyT/teebs)Thibert peacefully on Monday, January 10th, 2022 at Erie Shores Health Care at the age of 55 years.

Jim was born in Windsor on January 4, 1967, to his parents Bruce and Barbara (Bobbie) Thibert. Loving husband and soulmate of 25 years to Heidi Thibert (nee Kfrerer) and adoring father to James. Special nephew to Louise MacTavish and doting cousin to Krystle. Son-in-law to Rose Kfrerer, brother-in-law to Sherrie and Uncle to Carli. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jim can be best described as the most genuine and caring person. Always ready to lend a hand or give advice. He has touched the lives of so many people through his Fraternal Family, hockey coaching days, Chrysler family of 25 years and so many more.

He had a lust for life that resonated with others … whether it is was hanging around the pool with a drink in his hand, fishing on the dock up north, on the ice with a hockey stick in his hand (or behind the bench yelling at the refs), having a beer with the boys at the frat house, hanging in Vegas with the love of his life, playing like a “donkey” on the golf course, helping out a neighbour or sitting at his desk behind the computer at work … his positive energy shone through.

The importance and the well-being of his family and close friends was paramount … not to mention his sweet little Sadie.

He will be missed by many but his spirit will live on!

Special thanks to Dr. Sheila Horen, Dr. Susanne Farooqui, (nurse Linda), Linda Scowby, Lois, our VONs, attending Dr. and Nurses (Kim) at Erie Shores Health Care, Met Hospital and Windsor Cancer Centre.

Cremation will take place.

Arrangements entrusted to the Kendrick Funeral Home – Kingsville Celebration Centre, 91 Division Street South, Kingsville, ON (519-733-4111).
