Council Highlights from the January 19, 2022 Special Meeting of Council:

On the second day of budget deliberations, Council moved to enhance tree planting efforts and invested in the creation of a new dog park, subject to grant approval. Council approved Parks, Programs and Events, and Planning budgets.

Approved capital projects for 2022 include:

• Phase three of the Lions Park Development Project, including installation of an accessible playground
• Refurbishing the Kingsville range light
• Consultation work for the Main Street Strategy
• Baseball diamond improvements at Ridgeview Park
