Jasperson Drive will close at 4:00 pm to allow for parade staging, and sections of Main Street East, Division Street South and Park Street will close at 5:30 pm. All connecting side streets along the route will be barricaded. Please see the parade route map on our website.

- Kingsville Fire & Rescue is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Kingsville and Gosfield South Goodfellows.
- Rotary Club of Kingsville Southshore will collect donations of socks, mittens, hygiene products, diapers etc., for their Socks & Bottoms Campaign in support of local shelters and agencies.
- Canada Post is accepting Letters to Santa.
- The Kingsville Community Food Bank is accepting non-perishable food donations in grocery carts borrowed from Zehrs.
“Our entire community has pulled together to create a parade that is distinctly Kingsville,” said Fantasy of Lights Chair and Councillor Tony Gaffan. “We want to thank everyone; our staff, volunteers, community groups, and just everyone who has pulled up their sleeves and worked tirelessly to make this a magical night for our kids and our Town. We are truly astounded by the response and excited to see it all come together on Saturday.”
After the parade, everyone is invited to meet at Lakeside Park for the 29th Annual Fantasy of Lights Opening Ceremonies. Enjoy hot chocolate, Christmas carolling, and the official flick of the switch to light the displays. Fireworks will follow.
The Fantasy of Lights Festival continues until January 5, 2022, with many activities planned. Visit www.fantasyoflights.ca for complete details.

Will there be anyway to dial-in on the internet and watch the parade and Fantasy of Lights Festival kickoff from afar? I am still stuck on the other side of the border right now and don’t want to miss the events —even if I can only participate by watching them on my computer screen or on my TV.
