FATAL CRASH CLOSES HERITAGE ROAD IN KINGSVILLE

Driver Charged

(KINGSVILLE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Kingsville Detachment have charged 56-year-old Daniel BROOK of Harrow with careless driving causing death, contrary to section 130 (3) of the Highway Traffic Act.

The driver is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Windsor at a later date.

On September 6, 2021 at 12:05 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Kingsville Fire Department and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) attended a fatal motor vehicle collision on Heritage Road in the Town of Kingsville involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian has been identified as Evelyn GREENWOOD, 69 years-old from Kingsville.

The West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team assisted with the investigation.
