It has come to our attention that people are receiving calls from a number that appears to be from the Kingsville BIA. These calls are not coming from the BIA, the phone number was spoofed, and these are scam calls. The BIA has notified Bell Canada.

On behalf of the BIA, we advise anyone receiving a suspicious call to avoid disclosing personal details to the caller. If you have already received a call and are concerned you provided personal information, you can contact your OPP detachment.

Please note, this spoofed number does not impact incoming calls. If you call 519-733-6250, you will still connect to the Carnegie Arts & Visitors Centre, Arts Society of Kingsville, or Kingsville BIA; it is only the outgoing calls that may be scams. Thank you.
