Lions Club Presents Cheque for All-inclusive Playground Equipment

Lions Club presents cheque to Mayor Nelson Santos for all-inclusive playground equipment

At noon on Friday, Sept. 10 in the Town Square Fred Cross, Committee Chair for the Kingsville Lions Club Play-It-Forward fundraising campaign, presented a cheque for over $83,000.00 to Mayor Nelson Santos. This figure far surpasses the original goal of $65,000 and represents more than six months of fundraising outreach.

The Play-It-Forward initiative was created to provide funds for the purchase of all-inclusive playground equipment to be installed at the Lions Park.  This playground equipment will ensure that children of all abilities can play and interact together.
