Report an Off-Leash Dog in the Town of Kingsville

The Town has received an increase in reports about unleashed dogs on public property. Dog leashing laws exist to protect the entire community, including the dog. Off-leash dogs can bolt into traffic, attack other animals, or bite people. If you see an unleashed dog outside a private residence or the Town’s off-leash dog park on Conservation Blvd, please call Kingsville’s Animal Control Officer at 519-796-3013.

Our Animal Control Services include:

  • Pick up of stray animals
  • Removal of dead wildlife on roads
  • Enforcement of leash requirements
  • Investigating animal welfare concerns
  • Responding to biting and aggressive dog concern

There used to be a sign warning people no dogs without leash at Lakeview Park & Beach but has dis-appeared. People are walking there dogs at the park, beach & in front of private residences to the east of the park & not everyone is picking up there excrement. Maybe a replacement of the sign would help.
