Months of Lockdown = Desire to Get Out to Open Streets

The day started out cloudy and grey but that changed by the time 4 p.m. arrived. Mother Nature decided to co-operate and provide the area with a dry and beautiful night for the second Open Streets Kingsville for 2021.

The fish flies couldn’t keep area diners from getting out and enjoying some of Kingsville’s finest eating establishments.

Downtown Kingsville was bustling from East to West with dining tables filled with hungry patrons enjoying a night on the town.

There were ample tasty food choices up and down the street, sure to satisfy the cravings of every hungry visitor.

Aside from the staple restaurants along Main Street, at the Four Corners you could find Kingsville BBQ and Cottam Candy.

Cottam Candy was serving up cotton candy, caramel apples and fresh squeezed lemonade — shaken, not stirred!

Entertainment was on order this past Saturday night as budding artists young and old took chalk in hand and expressed their creativity in the heart of Kingsville.

The Town of Kingsville tent promoted all that the town has to offer — upcoming Canada Day activities, Camp in a Bag, the Migration Festival, and so much more!

If you didn’t make it out to Open Streets this past Saturday, no worries! There will be more fun to be had in the coming weekends.

Don’t miss out on the festivities this summer. Come on out and enjoy Kingsville’s Open Streets!
