The Town of Kingsville is pleased to announce the launch of Kingsville Click & Play. This new cloud-based recreation software allows residents and users to create an account to register for programs, see facility availability and even book venues right online.
“This software improves customer service by making our program registration and facility booking access available 24/7,” said the Town’s Manager of Recreation Programs and Special Events, Karen Loney. “The system includes a simple sign-up process, search filters, and automated emails to remind registrants of upcoming programs, or notify them of cancellations and waitlists.”
As facilities have been closed since the start of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the Town has also pivoted to provide 3D virtual tours of some of its more popular venues in place of guided in-person walk-throughs.
“Couples are still getting engaged, and people are still planning future special events,” said Loney. “Now, they can take a virtual tour to see if one of our venues matches their vision and use Kingsville Click & Play to check availability and book right online. That way, when the province opens up and our facilities are operating once again they don’t risk further delays.”
Program availability depends on the Town’s local pandemic status. Presently, the Town offers a new at-home summer camp solution for Youth and Children called Camp in a Bag. These bags are being sold at cost ($20.00) and are full of games, crafts and learning fun. Themes for Youth Ages 9-13 include “Ready Set Grow,” “Movie Makers,” “Murder Mystery,” and “Under the Stars,” while themes for Children 4-8 include “Little Growers,” “Mission Mars,” “Little Scientist,” and “Happy Campers.”
Residents are encouraged to create their custom account today and purchase their Camp in a Bag while supplies last. Visit www.kingsville.ca/clickandplay to register.
