Motorcyclists from all over Southwestern Ontario received a blessing from Pastors Dusan Toth and Dusan Tillinger, Sunday June 6, marking the beginning of the 2021 riding season.
More than 300 riders received their blessing by driving through the “Blessing Tent” in front of First Lutheran Church Kingsville for the 5th Annual Blessing of the Bikes.
A sermon preceded the individual blessings virtually through Live Stream.

Hogs for Hospice partnered with the church to provide the bikers with spiritual comfort. Organizers say the day was also the about showing community support, specifically to the “Small Business of Kingsville.”
“Those who ride bikes are always at risk on the open road … so putting them under God’s protection and blessing them as they ride is the right thing to do,” said Dusan Tillinger, pastor at the First Lutheran Church Kingsville.
