A new, interactive community events calendar goes live today with the Kingsville Times.

The Community Events Calendar is a web-based program that enables the community to post, view and search for events of broad interest to the community. The calendar is a tool for the public to advertise and promote community events and activities. It is specifically designed to share information about special events and public meetings.

Members of the public will now be able to add their own events to the calendar.

If you are hosting a networking meeting, a blood donor clinic, a food drive, a church yard sale, a town meeting or another community event, you can now add it to the calendar to get the word out to the public.

The calendar is easy to use. Simply click on “Add Your Own Event” and complete the online form that asks for the event name, description, date and other particulars.  Graphics, logos and photos can also be added.  If you are hosting a Zoom meeting, you also have the option of including the link.
