Windsor, ON – United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County is holding a spring Together We Dream 50/50 Draw, supporting vulnerable kids in Windsor-Essex County.

The Together We Dream 50/50 Draw will raise funds for United Way while giving participants a chance to win big, including a second prize of $1,000 in a new early bird draw. The inaugural grand prize winner took home $11,775 in December 2020.

Proceeds from this draw will be invested into local programs and services including mental health counselling, the Windsor-Essex food bank network, helping family members with a disability, mentoring, online and in-person after school and tutoring programs, high school completion programs, and 211 Information Services.

“COVID-19 continues to create many challenges for children and youth living in low income in Windsor-Essex,” says Andy Bothamley, Vice President of Finance and Operations at United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County. “We hope the community continues to show its generosity by supporting the Together We Dream 50/50 Draw.”

The guaranteed take home prize is $7,500 but there’s no limit to how big the jackpot can grow. The draw closes on May 13, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be drawn on May 14 at noon. One lucky winner will take home half the jackpot.
