(KINGSVILLE, ON) – On April 19, 2021 at approximately 4:15 a.m. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Kingsville Detachment was called to the 1300 block of Road 3 East in Kingsville in regards to a fire.
Kingsville Fire Department attended and has since contacted the Ontario Fire Marshall (OFM) office which is investigating the fire as arson. The OPP Major Crimes Unit is assisting with the investigation.
Preliminary investigation discovered a cannabis act violation and the Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) and Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team (PJFCET) have been called in to assist further.
The investigation is in the early stages and further information will be released as it becomes available.
