It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Mary on March 7, 2021 at Windsor Regional Hospital at the age of 88. Wife of the late John Sutak (2019). Daughter of the late Louis & Jean Bertok. Mother of Leslie (Sandra) and Richard (Nancy).

Grandmother of Timothy Ternosky (Amy), Andrew Sutak, Jonathan Sutak (Rachel) and Jennifer Sutak (Bethany Hildebrand); great-grandma of Kailey and Stella. Sister of the late Julia and Bill Haggith. Sister in law of Margaret and late Peter Nemeth. Predeceased by daughter in law Pauline Sutak.

Mary was a proud farmer in Essex County and found such enjoyment out of giving her fresh strawberries, raspberries and sweet corn to the area neighbours. In her later years, she became a master woodcarver making beautiful pieces of art after taking classes at the high school. She loved being active with the CWL and her Friday afternoon cards.

Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville on Friday March 12, 2021 from 6 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers being said at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. John de Brebeuf Church on Saturday March 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. with burial following at Greenhill Cemetery.
