Notice of Consideration of Amendments to By-Law Regulating Parking of Recreational Vehicles on Public and Private Property
TAKE NOTICE that The Council of The Corporation of the Town of Kingsville will consider potential by-law amendments at its Regular Meeting to be held on:
Monday, April 12, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
Potential by-law amendments for consideration include revision of Section 14.(5) of Traffic By-Law 21-2005.
Section 14.(5) as currently written:
No person shall park commercial/personal trailers, boats or recreational vehicles on any highway overnight and not more than five (5) hours during the day.
Section 14.(5) is proposed to be revised to:
No person shall park boats or recreational vehicles on any highway. On-street parking of commercial/personal utility trailers shall only be permitted from 7:00am to 7:00pm. No person shall park or leave an unattached trailer of any kind on the highway.
Further, consideration will be given to a proposed new by-law regulating the parking of recreational, commercial, and motor vehicles on private property and residential driveways (Draft By-Law 27-2021). The proposed new by-law regulating parking on private property is available in PDF format. Please call the Municipal Office if you require a printed copy.

Comments must be received by 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 and may be publically viewed during the Regular Meeting of Council.

There are all ready too many cars parked on the streets as it is, we don’t need boats, trailers or campers there also. I say no to the change.
you guys have lost your minds! So you would rather instead of allowing people to bring a camper and spend the night you would rather have them drive drunk home! If someone is in the county what should it matter if they have more than one trailer or not! I can see restrictions in town but if you live outside the town and have acrage these proposed rules are unfair and uncalled for. this is my land to do what i want on it! you vote this in and i will make sure i dont vote for any of you next election!
