The Town of Kingsville is holding an interactive public input session on Strategic Midterm Planning on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 7:00pm, and invites residents and business owners to participate.
“Municipal Council is halfway through its four-year elected term,” said Chief Administrative Officer, John Norton. “So now is a good time to reflect and decide on Council’s priorities for the next two years.”
The live event will take place on zoom and host up to 300 attendees. It will utilize an innovative crowd conversation platform called thoughtexchange, which enables participants to share and help prioritize ideas.
“COVID restrictions have certainly affected how we approach community engagement,” said Norton. “Moving to a virtual platform gives us the opportunity to hear directly from residents, allow them to provide their insights, and in turn, guide Council’s strategic midterm review in identifying priorities.”
Participants are asked to register in advance. Anyone unable to attend the live session will be able to provide feedback after the event by accessing the link at www.kingsville.ca/haveyoursay until February 17, 2021.
“Take fifteen minutes to tell us what you love about Kingsville, what concerns you and which areas require more focus,” continued Norton. “This is your opportunity to have your voice heard.”
The Stategic Midterm Planning session happens Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 7:00pm. Register on the Town’s website and invite your friends and family to join the discussion.
