(PELEE ISLAND, ON) – On January 25, 2021 at approximately 9:15 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Leamington officers were advised by Essex County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) of a sudden death on Pelee Island.

One person was found deceased in a motor vehicle.

Essex County OPP has engaged aviation services to transport officers from the Criminal Investigation Branch and Forensic Investigation Services to Pelee Island to investigate the matter.
