There is a water main break on County Road 20 (Seacliff Dr) at Kenyon Point Road. Environmental Services and our on-call contractor are on-site. The water main passes under municipal drain at this location and is buried deeper than normal. As such, the excavation will encroach into the roadway. The Town is working with Essex County Highways to close the road at County Road 31 (Albuna Townline) and County Road 45 (Union Ave). Traffic is asked to avoid the area. Furthermore, water service for Kenyon Point Subdivision will be disrupted during the repair. Updates will be provided when they are available.

Unrelated to news, I was happy to see the photo of the Municipal bldg, with the address 2021! || Nice timing, and I grew up closer to the 3rd, so passed it often, lol. || Happy New Year 2021! ♥️
It would have been very much appreciated if the Town had given just a few minutes warning of the water shut off. After all those elderly residents and those with children might have had time to store water for toilets and minimum hand washing–in time of Covid.
