In a news release for Essex County the Ontario Provincial Police Essex County Major Crime Unit has announced a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of 29-year-old Talita Isola Campbell.

Campbell is wanted for attempted murder as well as other firearm-related offences related to a shooting on Robinson Street in Leamington on July 19, 2020. A 39-year-old woman with a gunshot wound was taken to an area hospital by Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services.

Campbell is a Black female of medium build, 5 feet 4 inches tall. At the time of the incident, ahe was wearing a dark shirt and black pants and eyeglasses. Her hair was in a ponytail. She has ties to Windsor and the Greater Toronto Area, and has used the alias of Sam or Samantha Smith.

If you see Campbell, do not approach her. She is considered by the OPP to be armed and dangerous. Contact 911 if you have information as to her location.
