Kingsville Remains in Stage 2 with Windsor-Essex County

Premier Doug Ford announced at a news conference on July 13 that much of Ontario will be able to move to Stage 3 of reopening later this week. Windsor-Essex County, along with the Greater Toronto Area and some areas in Southern Ontario, will remain in Stage 2. We entered Stage 2 on July 7, 2020.

Ford explained that the regions which came to Stage 2 later than the rest of the province need to spend more time in this stage.

“I want the people in these regions to know we won’t leave anyone behind,” said Ford. “We will keep working until every part of this province gets to Stage 3.”

For Kingsville and the surrounding area, Stage 2 is making it possible for more people to go to work and regain a bit more of normal life. Social bubbles can now contain 10 people. Social distancing measures continue to be in place.
